Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Revenue Accountant to join our fast-paced Finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to dive deep into the financial operations of a leading company in the finance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and recognizing revenue in accordance with ASC 606, ensuring SOX compliance, and preparing financial statements in line with USGAAP. This role demands a strong understanding of full cycle accounting and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment. Responsibilities
- Manage and recognize all revenue streams in accordance with ASC 606, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure SOX compliance in all relevant processes and procedures.
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements in line with USGAAP.
- Participate in the full cycle accounting process, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Collaborate with other finance team members to analyze financial data and forecasts.
- Liaise with external auditors to facilitate regular audits.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of full cycle accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of ASC 606, revenue recognition, SOX compliance, and USGAAP.
- Proficiency in full cycle accounting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a plus.
