Position Summary
The Revenue Cycle Operations Manager oversees the centralized billing team of Patient Account Service Representatives, ensuring the smooth operation of the Patient Account Services Department and aligning our efforts with Dental Depot's business objectives. Responsibilities include training and developing team members, using conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques to address patient billing inquiries and complaints, managing claim submission, outstanding claims, denial and appeal follow-up, insurance remittance, Medicaid, reporting, and other matters as assigned by the Regional Manager of Revenue Cycle Management.

- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the Patient Account Services Department, including but not limited to claim submission, claim follow-up, insurance remittance, managing claim denials, and working aged accounts receivable.
- Identify and address the training needs of the Patient Account Services Representatives to enhance team performance and effectiveness.
- Lead team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve departmental goals.
- Organize, prepare, and distribute reporting of the department’s key performance indicators.
- Communicate effectively, courteously, and professionally with patients and team members.
- Audit patient accounts for billing errors or inconsistencies.
- Work to resolve claim issues by regularly reviewing denied, appealed, and corrected claims.
- Manage all refund requests issued from the insurance company or requested by patients.
- Provide quality customer service, utilizing conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques to manage patient inquiries and complaints.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Comply with Dental Depot policies and procedures; OSHA policies, procedures, rules, and regulations; and HIPAA policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- This position may complete other Administrative and Maintenance tasks as assigned by Management.
