Position: Automotive Service Advisor - Warranty Administrator
Location: Rockford, IL, US
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $48,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding warranty and after-sale repairs.
Utilize shop resources efficiently to ensure low-cost and speedy service.
Handle all service calls and negotiate service agreements.
Coordinate and manage work orders for the shop.
Oversee after-sale service handling, including warranty repairs.
Arrange for the customers' vehicles to be brought to our shop for diagnostics and inspections.
Set appointments with sublet repair facilities as needed.
Control the repair process by managing the speed and cost of repairs.
Submit warranty claims to the appropriate companies for payment.
Provide backup support for the Service Director, Body Needs, and Parts departments.

Who is Grote Automotive? Fred Grote has been in the car business for over 25 years. He opened his 1st store in Fort Wayne, IN in 2008. Growing from 25 cars a month to 200, he opened a 2nd store in Warsaw, IN. After great success there, his 3rd store came to Rockford, IL. The 4th and 5th stores have just arrived in IN in 2022 as well. We plan to open 1 more in 2024. We opened here in Rockford in December 2020 and have been growing FAST. We specialize in solving transportation problems that most dealerships can't.
