Chaparral Winds Assisted Living is looking to hire a full-time Sales Marketing Consultant. It is our goal at Chaparral Winds to create an atmosphere that fosters independence, enhances the quality of life, and respects the privacy and dignity of each resident.
BROAD SCOPE OF POSITION: Responsible for developing, implementing, and executing a marketing plan for Chaparral Winds Assisted Living. Promote the community through on-site meetings, tours, events, telephone follow-up, and community outreach to referral groups and influencers. Marketing and sales functions with the primary goal of generating qualified move-ins that meet or exceed census goals.
Pay depends on experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Managing leads to include lead generation, follow up, and documentation of the sales process.
- Promote the community through on-site meetings, tours, and events, telephone follow-up, community outreach to referral groups and influencers, and related sales functions with the primary goal of generating qualified move-ins that meet or exceed census goals.
- Responsible for driving occupancy growth utilizing a consultative sales approach in communication and in-person interactions with current and prospective residents.
- Complete regular required reports.
- Remain current on all competitor pricing, programs, etc.
- Assist in the planning of creative advertising campaigns, as well as the development of promotional material.
- Coordinate all aspects of new resident move-in, orientation, and move-out.
- Collaborate with all departments on site in supporting sales and marketing efforts.
- Maintain a high profile in the local community promoting good public relations.
- Join any local civic or charitable organization that would benefit the Chaparral Winds Independent Living.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of college with emphasis on marketing or public relations (Preferred).
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- At least two years’ experience in apartment or retirement housing leasing and marketing.
- Property management experience helpful.
- Experience in senior housing preferred.
- Multi-family experience helpful.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE OR SKILLS:
- Previous sales experience and successful track record in identifying and building local relationships to drive business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to facilitate small-group presentations.
- Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills, as well as a deeply ingrained passion for seniors to successfully nurture relationships.
- Schedule flexibility to work one weekend day per week (usually a Tuesday-Saturday schedule) as well as some evenings as necessary.
- Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, as well as the ability to learn new applications; previous knowledge of a client relationship management tool for tracking leads preferred.
