Job Description
As a Marketing Consultant at Eden, you will be a key driver in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting our suite of marketing services. Your primary responsibility will be to connect with potential clients, understand their marketing needs, and propose tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
This position is in-office, 9AM-5PM, Monday-Friday. However, it may require meeting with prospective clients out of office, attending local networking events, and a few days of out-of-state travel for conferences and trade shows as frequently as once or twice per month.
Salary / Wage
- 1-3 years experience - $45,000 - 51,000
- 3-5 years experience - $51,000 - 54,000
- More than 5 years experience - $55,000
Bonus
The marketing consultant is eligible to receive a $125 bonus for every client who remains with the agency for recurring services, payable every six months of their retention.
Commission
- $10,000 minimum quota - $14,999 in monthly sales (5% of all sales)
- $15,000 target - $19,999 in monthly sales (10% of all sales)
- More than $20,000 goal in monthly sales (15% of all sales)
Responsibilities
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Proactively identify and reach out to potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking, social media, and industry events.
- Consultative Selling: Engage in consultative discussions with prospects to understand their marketing challenges and objectives, providing valuable insights and recommending appropriate strategies.
- Solution Proposals: Create customized marketing proposals and presentations that effectively communicate our agency's capabilities and how they address client needs.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong and enduring relationships with clients by acting as a trusted advisor, delivering exceptional customer service, and staying attuned to their evolving requirements.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and opportunities in the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-ups and progression of deals through the sales pipeline.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the creative and strategy teams to develop innovative marketing solutions that align with client goals and resonate with their target audience.
- Market Insights: Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing technologies to position our agency as a thought leader in the field.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in a marketing or advertising environment.
- Strong understanding of marketing concepts, strategies, and digital channels.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and sales software.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with a drive to stay informed about the latest industry trends.
