To strengthen our ERP Automotive Practice in the Central Region, we are looking for a motivated, creative and enthusiastic (Senior) Consultant . The (Senior) Consultant leads all phases of the project execution including requirements gathering, solution design, application configuration, system testing, education, and adoption. Developing ongoing, successful business relationships with clients and for providing clients with "industry best practice" recommendations is also an important part of the role.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Participate in full life cycle client facing implementation projects working as part of an Infor project team.
- Add value to customer projects by using the know-how about Infor solutions and implementations derived from practical experiences.
- Provide customers with integration and industry expertise as well as “best practice” recommendations; act as an advisor to Infor customers regarding best practices and how to configure their Infor solution for making their processes and way of working more efficient.
- Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Conduct business process survey to determine all client processes and data needs to be addressed in project scope.
- Design solution to align client business needs with standard application capabilities and best approach.
- Build/configure solution based on design, using iterations of prototypes and testing to validate.
- Provide training to client’s key and end users.
- Participate in planning and execution of data conversions.
- Perform thorough system testing.
- Act as subject matter expert for applications to support Project Manager, technical resources, and other members of project team.
Required skills: - A successful candidate will have experience either as ERP Consultant at a software / IT services & consulting firm or as “ERP Key User” / Business Process Owner in the automotive industry.
- Business process change knowledge and Know How of the automotive industry.
- Excellent spoken and written German and a good knowledge of English.
- Product knowledge, preferable of Infor LN, or any other major ERP software.
- Ability to forge a strong relationship with the customer, and become trusted advisor
- Ability to present to all levels and lead a customer workshop, extracting the required information.
- Reliability and deadline-driven approach.
- Strong oral and written communication that effectively articulates complex ideas.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team but also self-motivated.
- Team player with the ability to build strong peer and interpersonal relationships.
- Travel up to 50%
