Description
The Project Success Manager will manage and update project status using the CRM and other Gsuite platforms. They will collaborate closely with the Business Development Managers and the Supply Chain along with other departments for the successful completion of projects with the goal of increasing our conversion rate of winning projects. They will provide customer project updates via email, participate in weekly conference calls regarding various customers on ongoing projects, compile and provide project documentation to customers, and follow through with expected delivery timeframes. For success, they must have excellent organizational skills, be able to multitask, and have great verbal and written communication skills.
The Project Success Manager is a vital part of the customer experience. This person will perform a wide variety of administrative and communication duties including but not limited to CRM project entries and schedule coordination with customers and colleagues to drive project completion with ease and success.
Internally, the Project Success Manager will provide real-time feedback to management and clients concerning possible issues so that any challenges can be avoided or quickly and efficiently resolved. Externally, the Project Success Manager will be the direct point of contact for prospective customers to drive overall customer satisfaction and brand loyalty by meeting the customer's needs. Primary Responsibilities:
Collaboration
- Partner with our Business Development Managers to increase our business development and brand awareness by strategic contacts with all current accounts and potential new clients, focusing on building awareness of our products and services.
- Report consistently all pertinent information to the Business Development Manager and Supply Chain.
- Prospect leads on behalf of the BDM with the goal of setting up a meeting for the BDM and the prospective buyer.
Project Management
- Cultivating a strong partnership with accounts that have upcoming and ongoing projects.
- Responsible for data collection, analysis, and research associated with projects including initial information on the project, other parties, and contacts involved, obtaining updates/status, facilitating the solicitation of feedback.
- Follow up with all project contacts to obtain more information about issues, risks, and change requests.
- Update project plans, issues logs, and other key project deliverables.
- Ensure the successful delivery and implementation of products and services.
- Identify ways to bridge the gap between sales and inventory by clarifying shipping needs on assigned projects and accounts and reporting to the Supply Chain department to ensure complete customer satisfaction and compliance standards are being met for the account/project.
Account Management
- Operate as the lead contact for any and all matters pertaining to your accounts.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive customer relationships through consistent and meticulous follow-up.
- Cultivate a professional, trusting relationship with the account through consistent feedback and creative solutions to challenges.
- Monitor customer contracts professionally and confidently.
- Assist with account onboarding.
Other Responsibilities:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's goods or services in order to provide appropriate advice and suggestions to customers.
- Answer incoming calls and field questions from customers.
- Handle all calls and email responses timely and professionally.
- Prepare agendas, create meetings, and track follow-ups and action items.
- Assist with time-sensitive requests and issues as needed.
- Explain the features and benefits of products and services to customers.
- Provide monthly reports and updates to management.
- Ensure effective utilization of available tools.
- Be a strong source of market information and consistently inquisitive regarding opportunities to develop and implement strategies to provide solutions and further enhance sales.
- Constant learning and self-improvement through training and classroom learning.
- Perform other duties and tasks as needed.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of B2B experience in sales.
- 2+ years of administrative experience.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Qualification and Skills:
- Positive and professional demeanor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and the ability to work independently.
- Proficient computer skills and experience with GSuite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc).
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour + eligible for quarterly bonuses
This position can reasonably expect to earn between $52,000 - $75,000 annually depending on factors such as experience, performance, attendance, etc.
