Mettler Toledo's Global LabX consultants are crucial for the success of LabX business and customer satisfaction. The Lab Division's business with Global Key Accounts is becoming increasingly important, with LabX consultants leading successful global standardization projects. LabX software and consultants are highly requested for digital transfer projects, with more requests for long-term onsite work. The position of LabX consultant fills the need for a flexible, well-trained consultant available remotely or onsite, responsible for the Lab Division's LabX portfolio and collaborating with the Global Key Account Management team and Market Organizations. The growing number of customers with significant potential to expand Mettler Toledo's position makes this a great opportunity for those interested in this field.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a center of competence for workflow integrations and other consulting work related to LabX laboratory software as well as compatible instruments.
- Regionally focused integration and consulting for Lab solutions at global accounts (Americas, Europe, Asia).
- Work with LabX business development, LabX consultants, Lab Division GKAM and MO sales/service.
- Workflow and application development and support remotely or onsite (including requirements gathering, process definition, and working directly with users to the point of delivering a solution into implementation status).
- Coordinate and perform advanced customer training.
- Manage and coordinate regional and global integration projects.
- Train and coach MO teams to increase their level of competence.
- Stay current with laboratory regulations from such entities as USP, FDA, EMA, WHO.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics or other related field.
- Experience working in a lab would be ideal.
- Network and Cloud know-how.
- Excellent speaking and writing in English (Spanish would be a plus).
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel: On average 50% travel. Most projects based in North America, but occasional international travel.
- Project management skills - Ability to manage multiple projects at a time in a matrix organization.
- Self-motivated, but works well within a team.
