Senior Client Strategy Consultant (Healthcare)
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and in office one to two days per week). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of one of our Pulse Point locations in South Portland, ME, Manchester, NH or Wallingford, CT.
The Senior Client Strategy Consultant (Healthcare) is responsible for providing first-class consultative services to key clients through identifying and delivering strategic opportunities that directly impact the client’s overall strategy and bottom line. This strategic, highly visible, client-facing role is responsible for satisfying extensive client commitments and organizational readiness and will own blocks of business while providing thought leadership across the organization.
How you will make an impact:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external (Clients, Brokers, etc.) and internal (Sales, Account Management, Network, Product etc.) stakeholders, operating with a high degree of professionalism and sense of urgency.
- Translate data trends into strategic benefit recommendations and value stories aimed at bending the cost curve and improving overall health.
- Operate as an extension of Sales and Account Management teams, developing short and long term KPI’s.
- Leverage deep consulting proficiency to identify and solve for gaps, evaluating and triaging potential projects and studies based on the value, cost benefit analysis and the urgency of the request.
- Serve as a regional lead building the organizational Advisory and Analytics footprint and strategy.
- Organize and manage the staffing and workflow on major projects.
- Develop and communicate action plans and assist in planning initiatives to address areas for improvement identified through data analysis and business expertise.
- Manage projects through coordination and negotiation with internal and external clients in a highly matrixed environment.
- Develop detailed understanding of relevant business processes, goals and strategy.
- Act as a source of truth providing direction, training, and guidance for less experienced staff.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in analysis and reporting with a minimum of 2 years of broad-based practical business experience within a business unit, and experience in managed care and data analysis; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, and oral and written communication skills strongly preferred.
- High level of emotional intelligence harnessing the ability to shift communication styles through a wide variety of personality types and across all management levels strongly preferred.
- Ability to translate complex data sets into high level actionable insights strongly preferred.
- Ability to influence and negotiate with all levels of management strongly preferred.
- Experience in healthcare data analysis strongly preferred.
- Expert level spreadsheet and database skills; understands and applies Excel functions and macro tools to help solve complex problems strongly preferred.
- Understanding and embodiment of Agile methodologies strongly preferred.
- Advanced degree in Business, Public Health, Health Systems Administration, Science, or Health Research preferred.
- Ability to travel regularly to client sites preferred.
