As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at Ditsch USA, you will be a strategic partner to our business leaders, providing comprehensive HR support and guidance. This role requires a deep understanding of the business, strong strategic thinking, and excellent interpersonal skills. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, front-line leaders, and employees, the HRBP will partner with other stakeholders to deliver programs that are strategically aligned with both business and workforce planning goals. This role is team-centric and focuses on fostering a cohesive and inclusive workplace culture that supports both employee well-being and business success.
Responsibilities:
- Partners with Director of Human Resources to provide leadership which promotes an environment of open communications, productive working relationships, value for diversity, recognition for high performance, opportunity for training and career development, and engages employees in accountability and personal ownership for business outcomes.
- Consult with department leaders on a broad range of human resource issues including policy, talent planning, career mobility, retention, engagement, work actions, performance management and other related areas focused on developing a high-performing team.
- Engage with the employees to understand and improve the employee experience and facilitate the organization’s culture and engagement strategies. Set the tone for employment engagement, team building, and overall culture. Regular engagement with hourly staff through spending time in the plant.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers on all employee related matters including coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary action.
- Manage and resolve employee concerns and conduct more complex investigations as situations require, consult with other departments to complete investigation.
- Conducts regular employee and supervisory training on HR topics, benefits, performance management, disciplinary action, sexual harassment, safety and others.
- Maintains confidentiality with all employee records including personnel files, performance evaluations, payroll records, training records, medical records and all other pertinent documents and data as necessary. Ensures compliance with document retention requirements.
- Administers legal compliance with all Federal and State requirements including Equal Employment Opportunity, ADAA, FMLA, Military Leave, and others as required.
- Company representative for workers compensation claims; in collaboration with Safety & Health.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional/cross-HR projects and programs for enterprise-wide or site-specific needs.
- Supports and assists with successful talent acquisition platform, including recruiting, interviewing, selection, and onboarding designed to meet the company’s workforce planning requirements and ensures legal compliance for all employment practices.
- Supports and acts as back-up to the Payroll Administrator. Assists with gathering census data and other required documents for benefit plan open enrollment and participates in annual onsite open enrollment meetings.
- Follow any other instructions, and perform any other related duties, as assigned.

- Ability to interact effectively with internal and external parties at all levels of the organization and to be highly collaborative and drive partnership and alignment across HR areas and the business.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- Possess proficiency to develop reports and presentations leveraging advanced Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, charts and graphs)
- Experience working in manufacturing and/or Food & Beverage industry.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related experience
- Five or more years of demonstrated experience using principles, practices, and/or methodologies associated with the Human Resources discipline.

Compensation Range: $95,000 - $100,000
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, and other job-related qualifications/skills.
