Job Summary
We are seeking a Consulting Manager with 14 to 16 years of experience in the Merchandising domain to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to drive impactful consulting projects. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of merchandising strategies and practices to deliver exceptional client outcomes. The position operates on a day shift schedule with no travel required.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage consulting projects focused on merchandising strategies to enhance client outcomes.
- Oversee the development and implementation of merchandising solutions tailored to client needs.
- Provide expert advice on merchandising best practices and industry trends to clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- Conduct thorough analysis of client merchandising processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and present detailed reports and recommendations to clients based on analysis findings.
- Ensure all consulting projects are completed on time within scope and meet client expectations.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants to foster their professional growth and development.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform merchandising strategies and decision-making processes.
- Maintain strong client relationships to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the consulting practice to enhance service delivery.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align consulting projects with overall business objectives.
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Qualifications
- Possess a minimum of 14 years of experience in consulting with a focus on merchandising.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of merchandising strategies practices and industry trends.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills to conduct thorough assessments and develop actionable recommendations.
- Showcase excellent communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to clients.
- Display proficiency in project management to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
- Hold a relevant certification such as Certified Management Consultant (CMC) or equivalent.
- Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior team members to support their development.
- Exhibit strong client relationship management skills to maintain and grow client engagements.
- Possess the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Show a commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry advancements.
- Display strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using data analytics tools to inform merchandising strategies.
