Job Responsibilities:
- Resolve day-to-day complex problems and execute on complex transactions for multiple sites or larger business unit(s).
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of products, systems, processes, and services using discretion within the project management methodologies, focusing on continuous improvement.
- Manage projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives.
- Advise as a technical expert in assigned area by providing work direction, guidance, and training to employees and business partners on new complex initiatives.
- Build relationships with business partners across various Lines of Business.
- Define responsibilities and accountabilities for key programs and projects.
- Manage the portfolio of Controls.
- Partner with functional leads to run governance and oversight for Audit Issues and Exams.
- Assist in the portfolio management of multiple tests executed on High-Risk Detection.
- Partner with the AML Audit and Exam team to ensure oversight for all programs.
- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on status and ongoing planning for upcoming Exams.
- Internally test the team’s processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Operationalize policies and standards.
- Gain exposure to the Regulatory space across multiple lines of business.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience in Business Controls and/or Audit and Exam Management.
- Global Regulatory experience with an advantage of having worked in the AML space.
- Experience in remediating audit and regulatory issues.
- Working experience in global locations and with global teams.
- Experience dealing with global banking, global markets, or consumer and small business processes and products.
- Ability to interpret and build practical methods for delivery on new Laws, Rules, and Regulations.
- Strong presence and excellent communication skills.
- Advanced/Expert PowerPoint Skills to build and present data in an informative, structured, and smart format.
- Able to multitask at speed while delivering quality output.
Desired Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Global Banking, Global Markets, Consumer and Small Business products and/or Regulation-based Ops processes.
- Process improvement and six-sigma and/or data analysis experience with knowledge of using associated tooling.
- Ideally will have covered functions like Transactional monitoring, Enhanced Due Diligence, Screening (Sanctions, PEP, and Adverse media).
