A Sales Representative’s duties include connecting with sales leads, presenting products, maintaining documentation, and understanding customer needs to achieve and/or exceed customer expectations and company goals.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING | THE ROLE - Top-Notch Sales Representative - Home Improvement
Renewal by Andersen is The Largest Window Manufacturing Company in North America. Due to growth, high demand, and upcoming expansions, we are looking to add dedicated design consultants to our team. Currently, we are staffing our Waterloo, IA and Cedar Falls, IA locations. We are looking for experienced sales consultants, who are driven by success. The pay structure is commission-based. Make $120,000 - $180,000/yr based on performance! Our Average Consultant's first-year salary is $140,000.
Our Sales Consultants are responsible for conducting in-home consultations with homeowners, providing estimates, sales solutions, and custom design options for their replacement projects. Schedule: Homeowners can schedule appointments 7 days per week at 10am, 2pm, or 5pm Monday - Friday (weekends as needed). Expected: 1-2 appointments/day, 6-10/week. If working on Saturday, receive one day off during the week.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively communicate our value during in-home product demonstrations.
- Measure windows & doors, analyze the home improvement project, and answer construction-related questions.
- Follow up on quotes and completed jobs.
- Make follow-up calls on past customers, managing notes on customer interactions.
- Seek out referrals from customers and community contacts.
- Track and monitor performance against quotas.
- Communicate job details to team members.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 3 years of experience in Sales/Outside Sales.
- College degree preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- In-home or outside sales experience preferred.
- Proven track record of closing sales, preferably in a short cycle sales environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Schedule availability to run homeowner appointments on many evenings and weekends.
- Requires ability for frequent sitting, walking, reaching at waist level, climbing stairs.
- Requires ability for occasional reaching from floor to at/or above shoulder level.
- Must be able to routinely lift/move items weighing up to 55lbs and place them on raised surfaces.
