Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in managing our critical contract audit business process? As a Business Support Consultant, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, collaborating with both internal and external business partners, including Dealers. Your insights will drive actionable business decisions and make a real impact!
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong organizational and communication abilities, excellent business acumen, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with asset maintenance, repair practices, and Dealer operations.

- Naturally inquisitive, with a keen interest in product lifecycles and business insights.
What you will do:
- Execute the contract audit process to ensure alignment with original contract inclusions and exclusions and determine the financial performance of the contract.
- Engage with internal and external business partners (primarily Cat Dealers) to sustainably scale the audit process to meet portfolio growth expectations.
- Extract business insights from audit data to understand top areas of focus to drive actionable business decisions.
- Collaborate closely with solution pricing, maintenance & repair strategy, and fleet manager teams to ensure quality audits, effective feedback loop for business needs, and execution of process improvement initiatives.
- Communicate progress and analysis effectively to solution pricing, maintenance & repair strategy, fleet managers, commercial managers, Business Resources, and leaders.
- Deliver requirements to the IT team for visualization development of analysis and business acumen for the teams.
What skills you will have:
Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience in commercial, product support or engineering role supporting asset lifecycle; previous experience in Dealer-facing roles; working experience with dealer work orders.
Business Development: Knowledge of how to manage projects and implement process improvements with discreet timelines and deliverables aligned with compliance. Knowledge of business data analysis and the ability to analyze and interpret business data using various kinds of techniques to meet business needs and requirements.
Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.
Top Candidates will also have:
A strong understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy resulting in the ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
Knowledge of program tools and data extracts from internal and external tools such as AMT and Service Option Collaborator to refine M&R strategies for future contracts.
Additional Information:
The primary location for this position is Peoria, IL, or Decatur, IL.
Domestic relocation assistance is not available.
