Job Summary
The responsibilities for Lead Technical Consultant include supporting Workday Payroll, including participating in workstreams for Absence, Time Tracking, Reporting & Integrations. This role will be responsible for testing of Core functionality, including business processes, configuration, data conversions, integrations, EIBs and report development. This role will also provide support for ongoing maintenance, regulatory updates, reporting and improvement efforts into Workday post implementation and other Payroll/Tax technology applications, including troubleshooting issues, monitoring integration logs, and release management for change requests and bi-annual releases.
NOTE: This is a WFH role. Must be located within 250 miles of CHICAGO IL, or RICHARDSON TX ~ relocation will not be offered; sponsorship is not available.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree OR 5 years work experience with Cloud Based Systems
- Solid understanding of Workday Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking business processes
- Advanced reporting and data skills
- Experience creating thorough test cases and testing interfaces
- Analytical and conceptual skills; research techniques, verbal and written documentation skills
- Teamwork and interpersonal skills
- PC proficiency to include Access, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience in development of technical and non-technical training materials
- Organizational skills; project management skills; and self-directed
- Analytical skills, research techniques, verbal and written documentation skills; problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well within a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to work in a virtual environment
- Ability to handle confidential matters ethically, with discretion and good judgment
- Ability to be flexible as responsibility is aligned within the work team
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Workday Report development experience
- Functional Payroll / Tax experience
- Workday implementation experience
- Workday Pro Training certification

Base Pay Range
$80,700.00 - $145,700.00
