The Business Technology Leaders (BTL) provide technology direction and project execution for the North America Janssen Pharmaceutical Commercial franchises and supporting functions. In this capacity, the BTL will provide leadership around relationship management, project/program management, business process/analysis, quality, and compliance.
The position requires direct interaction with Sales and Marketing and Commercial Operations to understand the demand required by the commercial departments. This includes assessing the current state and identifying technology solutions that deliver business strategies for the franchise. This position will lead projects from the beginning of client engagement through delivery of the final project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner and maintain strategic relationships with business partners by representing and promoting technology capabilities and solutions.
- Partner with our business teams in planning, needs analysis, and business risk assessment, leading business process (re)design, acclimating the processes to changes in technology and collaborating with partners on how to best support the business and patients through the effective use of technology.
- Liaison between Technology Product Lines and business partners to understand business processes and priorities and handle technology demand.
- Supervise and maintain progress on all key project phases utilizing existing Project Management and SDLC tools and methodologies.
- Assist in the management of project budgets and assure timely management/response to all risks, issues, and opportunities that can affect the project.
- Partner with business teams to present new and innovative ideas while handling expectations and commitments. Establish and lead roles and responsibilities between internal technology teams and external agencies to build an effective and collaborative partnership.
- Partner with other technology teams to advance efficiency and impact. Share standard methodologies across the broader Technology organization.
- Follow and implement all local and worldwide security policies to ensure that J&J information assets are appropriately identified, valued, and protected.
Qualifications:
Education:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- 3 years of Technology experience are required.
- Project Management experience delivering medium to large scale in Digital Web, CRM, and/or Reporting & Analytics projects from concept through delivery and operations is required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, and operate with patience and integrity in a sophisticated, high-profile, and evolving environment is required.
Preferred:
- Experience in life sciences and the healthcare industry with a focus on customer engagement, field sales team enablement, and Health Care Provider digital tools is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
- The ability to work and achieve results in a dynamic environment.

Anticipated Salary Range: $90,000- $144,900
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
