As an Automotive Parts Advisor with Ron Bouchard's Auto Stores, you will be assisting customers in finding and purchasing the right automotive parts and accessories for their vehicles. They utilize catalog systems and databases to identify, locate, and order specific parts requested by customers or needed for repairs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with team members to assist with pickups and parts deliveries, assisting retail and wholesale vendors as well as technicians in the shop.
- Ensures assigned shop has parts needed for each day, determining immediate part needs, procuring and/or distributing parts to technicians.
- Verifies invoices and checks with purchase orders prior to pick up, maintaining an accurate log of daily deliveries and pickups.
- Assists department and team with customers, stocking and posting orders.
- Can identify when a situation requires escalation to a senior parts advisor or supervisor.
- Maintains current knowledge of the business, technology, terminology, products/features, accessories, current sales, policies, safety and security practices.
- Ensures all inventory or parts are charged to the appropriate accounts.
Recommended Qualifications:
- Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self motivated with continual learning mindset.
- A passion for automobiles and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Valid driver's license.
