This role is in IT organization and seeking hands-on experience in Workforce Software suite and is responsible to support Time and payroll systems along with overall integration of Core HR data. This position will be engaging actively with business process owners, Payroll department on day-to-day activities and will serve as the first line of support for Payroll, HR Managers, and their teams at plant locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of overall HR Time & Payroll applications that includes Workforce Software Suite (Time and Attendance, ACT, Job Scheduling, Fatigue Management, Analytics), SAP HCM, UKG Workforce Dimensions / Workforce Central time and attendance along with new and latest HR cloud / SaaS applications.
- Must have knowledge of overall integration of HR data to various functions across Workforce Software application.
- Work closely with the business teams to gather, collect and deliver HR solutions and work with development and cross-functional teams to make sure that the requirements delivered in time and to accuracy.
- Work closely with Corporate and site HR business teams and assist in day-to-day business operations in supporting Workforce Software and integration.
- Key daily tasks include monitoring the ticketing queues, resolve and close the tickets on timely manner that include troubleshooting, providing standard and alternative solutions. Should also work on minor enhancements and testing.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts; identifies defects and works to a resolution with the Developers and business teams.
- Communicate effectively across various teams, internal and external customers and stakeholders.
- Work with IT and cross-functional teams across the organization to support the assigned projects and tasks related to HR/Payroll.
Experience
- Around seven years of hands-on experience in Workforce Software modules (Time and Attendance, ACT, Job Scheduling, Fatigue Management, Analytics) is required.
- Three plus years of functional experience with other Timekeeping and Payroll systems like UKG, SAP, SuccessFactors, ADP is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of interface integrations is needed, and good understanding of union contracts / pay practices preferred.
- Many years of experience in Workforce Software Suite with the below but not limited to:
- Time and Attendance configuration
- Work Rules, Pay Rules, Holiday schedules.
- Absence, Leave tracking, Advance Scheduling and Fatigue Management.
- Accruals, Attendance and Pay Policies.
- Interfaces, integration, and workflows.
- Premiums and Banks, Callout Rules, ACT.
Education Level and Certifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Information Technology or related field is required.
