Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security professional to join our internal consultation team for our Columbus, Ohio location. In this role, you will engage with various business units to provide cyber security input and advice on diverse topics. Your primary goal will be to help the organization make informed decisions related to cyber security risks in new projects, cloud applications, compliance certifications, data governance laws, third party risk management, and contract reviews.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Security Consultation: Provide expert advice and guidance on various cyber security topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate risks associated with new and upcoming technology/projects, ensuring they align with our risk appetite and tolerance. This would include third party risk management.

Cloud Security: Assist in recommendations and advise on best practices for securing cloud configurations and infrastructure.

Compliance and Certifications: Guide the organization in achieving and maintaining certifications such as ISO 27001 and help ensure compliance with new data governance laws.

Policy and Procedure Development: Assist in developing and updating cyber security policies and procedures to address emerging threats and trends.

Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate complex security concepts to a wide range of stakeholders and build strong working relationships across the business.

Reporting: Generation of meaningful/actionable reports for the business based on the data collected by the various cyber security systems.

Incident Response: Contribute to incident response planning and management, ensuring minimal impact on business operations during security events.
