The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will provide functional support for all human resources activities within the assigned facility. Acting as a strategic partner to local site leadership, the HRBP will drive business performance and enhance talent management, retention, and workforce planning initiatives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with local site leaders to drive performance, develop innovative solutions, and foster a safe and inclusive work environment.
- Talent Management: Implement and oversee the talent management process with an emphasis on coaching, development, succession planning, individual development plans, and talent reviews for site leaders.
- Compensation Guidance: Educate stakeholders on the company’s compensation structure and philosophy, ensuring alignment with pay-for-performance methodologies across the region.
- Investigations Support: Collaborate with senior HR leadership to support investigations and lead follow-up action items as necessary.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and develop a team of HR professionals, focusing on enhancing talent capabilities and promoting teamwork.
- Compliance Administration: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements and government reporting regulations, while maintaining an understanding of collective bargaining agreements when applicable.
- Data Analysis: Gather and analyze data related to absenteeism and turnover to advocate for data-driven process improvements.
- Payroll and Benefits Support: Assist in the smooth processing of payroll and benefits issues at the site level, including supporting leave administration.
- Corporate HR Communication: Effectively communicate and support the implementation of all corporate HR initiatives within the assigned site(s).
- Other related tasks as assigned to support HR initiatives and organizational goals.
Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):
- 3 years of progressive HR experience or in a related field.
- Basic knowledge of HR legal and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of navigating ambiguity.
- Proven experience in leading high-functioning teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, or a related field; or relevant HR training or certifications.
- Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
