CT Technologist
CompuRay Medical is proud to announce an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at a state-of-the-art freestanding ER facility in Joliet, IL. This role offers the flexibility to choose from various shifts and the chance to work with cutting-edge GE CT equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CT equipment, conducting scans, and providing impeccable patient care while maintaining adherence to safety protocols. Compensation: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans according to the prescribed specifications.
- Adjust and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring operational standards are met.
- Analyze images for quality and ensure proper coverage of the designated area.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans, providing clear instructions and support.
- Maintain records of imaging procedures, outcomes, and relevant patient data.
- Collaborate with medical team to discuss diagnostic procedures and results.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in CT imaging.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
- Specific certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Excellent patient management skills and empathy.
- Strong technical proficiency with CT imaging equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Previous experience in an emergency room or acute care setting.
- Advanced certification in multiple imaging modalities.
- Proven ability to handle a high volume of procedures with precision.
- Leadership experience or team management skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety standards.
