Our Energy practice provides expert economic and business consulting services to a range of energy and industrial clients, including electric utilities, investors, generators, regulators, renewable energy developers, oil and gas companies, and chemicals clients. - Finance (Boston, Chicago, Oakland)
Our Finance experts work on valuation issues (shareholder class actions and other corporate valuation disputes), as well as matters focused on the functioning of financial markets and institutions (alleged market manipulation and insider trading). - Life Sciences/Policy, Strategy (Boston, Washington DC)
Our Life Sciences practice provides expert economic and business consulting services to life sciences clients, including international pharmaceutical firms, biotechnology companies, and medical device firms.

Qualifications
- PhD degree with a graduation date of December 2023/Summer 2024 and an academic focus on quantitative research (Business/Management, Engineering, Finance, Natural and Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Sustainability, Social Sciences, or any other major focused on quantitative or qualitative research with an emphasis in Energy, Life Sciences or Strategy);
- Curious and analytical thinkers who bring creative approaches to non-standard problems;
- Effective written and oral communication skills;
- Eagerness to learn new skills and programming languages;
- Demonstrated high level of initiative and leadership;
- Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities;
- Excellent time management and task prioritization skills;
- Clear and demonstrated interest in consulting through coursework, work experience, activities, or attendance at CRA recruiting events;
- Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to explain, economic, financial and/or accounting concepts, and quantitative and qualitative analysis methods;
- Experience in Excel, Stata, Python, R, SQL, SAS, ArcGIS/ArcPy, or Cloud computing (Databricks/Spark, Google Cloud, Azure, AWS);

The state of California and the city of New York require CRA to include a good-faith estimate of the wage range for this role. A good-faith estimate of the base wage range for this role is $170,000-$220,000 (dependent on practice area); actual total compensation may also include benefits and bonus incentives.
