Your Role
The Talent Acquisition Team is looking for a Talent Advisor, Consultant in support of Health Solutions recruitment. The Talent Advisor, Consultant will report to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition. Acts as a close partner to people leaders in the Health Solutions business unit to hire talent to achieve their business objectives. This role requires high touch services to hiring leaders, candidates, and stakeholders. Will support a breadth of levels from professional through VP recruitment. The Talent Advisor, Consultant will execute recruitment strategies within the Health Solutions team. Facilitates hiring plan and strategy meetings with HRBP/business leaders.
Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for the full life cycle recruitment of talent for the Health Solutions business unit.
- Provide proactive and guided support to hiring leaders throughout each step of the recruitment process to ensure an equitable and positive candidate experience.
- Develop and execute customized sourcing and engagement strategies to build a strong pipeline.
- Utilize tools, platforms, and agile techniques to creatively achieve the hiring goals at scale.
- Lead and manage the recruiting process in the identification, assessment, and nurturing of external and internal talent.
- Develop an executive recruiting strategy, including appropriate media and advertising, to develop a pool of qualified applicants/candidates for each assigned open position.
- Ensure all appropriate documentation is maintained in employee files through the hiring process and ensure compliance with all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations regarding hiring and initial employment.
- Be active in local staffing/recruiting professional networks and develop and maintain relationships with representatives.
- Maintain and gain knowledge and expertise in staffing/recruiting best practices, wage and salary laws.
- Act as a lead member of the Health Solutions TA pod for more junior team members and lead daily recruitment standup meetings.
- Assist in the onboarding/training of incoming staff.
- Manage/develop Talent Acquisition strategic projects in partnership with Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition.
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience.
- Previous executive level talent acquisition experience.
- Requires at least 5 years of clinical recruitment for roles such as: Medical Director, Physician, Registered Nurse, Social Worker, and Pharmacists.
- Must possess extensive experience in managing expectations and relationships with internal business clients.
- Demonstrates ability to execute hiring plans and adapt to strategic changes.
- Extensive experience with sourcing, screening resumes, and conducting telephone screens for designated hard-to-fill positions is required.
- Previous project management experience is preferred.
- Excellent task management, resource management, and interpersonal skills to support time-critical staffing needs.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, a positive attitude, and a high level of initiative.
- Must be results-oriented and have the drive to win.
- Works with a high sense of urgency, ability to remain flexible within a highly dynamic changing environment and still deliver on deadlines.
- Works well with ambiguity.
Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is: $109120.00 to $163680.00 for California.

Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
