Domain Consulting Partner
Strong consulting partner who can provide impactful consulting services to asset managers, custodians, and institutional clients on best practices for asset management and custody. Has a broad understanding of capital markets and plays a crucial role in managing and nurturing client relationships and drives business growth through exceptional delivery of consulting services.
As a global technology consulting and digital solutions leader, the candidate should be able to work with C-suite stakeholders to reimagine business models, accelerate innovation, and maximize growth by harnessing Wipro technology capabilities and our Domain & Consulting knowledge base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pro-active planning with Sales & Account teams - Focus on accounts & TAL for shaping large deal opportunities and engage in thought partnership with the Wipro Client Account Leads to reimagine business solutions.
- Large Pursuit Solutions & Deal Shaping - Domain lead large pursuits where you coordinate and lead the solution construct, value proposition, client context, response analysis, market trends and form the framework for shaping the deal response to the client.
- Drive strategic pursuits with technology leadership - Partner with Wipro Technology service leads to help drive pursuit solutions construct & technology direction across multiple technology practices, coming up with innovative ways to position based on the client context.
- Execute Consulting Program - Deliver value to clients by executing on consulting solutions that help clients achieve their strategic vision while building on capabilities that can be leveraged by Wipro Practice Teams.
- Expert Advice - Provide expert advice and consultation on Domain service or products to help clients meet their business objectives.
- Practice Management - Lead the asset management practice by building industry-aware capabilities and drive P&L growth. Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of asset management consultants.
- Project oversight - Lead and oversee the execution of consulting projects, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Business development - Identify new business opportunities with existing and potential clients and develop customized solutions to meet their needs.
- Strategic planning - Develop strategic plans to meet business objectives, project goals, revenue goals, and client satisfaction metrics.
- Strong leadership - Provide leadership to the team and direct reports through sharing of knowledge and guidance on managing growth of the team.
- Team player - Collaborate with colleagues, management, and all points of the organization.
- Strong belief in different perspectives and backgrounds - Open to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Domain Knowledge Base:
- 10+ years of Asset Management experience as a manager, product owner, or service line manager.
- Expertise in various asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives) and understanding of portfolio management strategies.
- Experience with asset servicing technologies and innovations in fintech, blockchain, and automation tools.
- Familiarity with key regulations (e.g., MiFID II, AIFMD, Dodd-Frank, UCITS) impacting asset management and custody.
- Strong presentation skills to develop client pitches and management updates on business/growth initiatives.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality over the full consulting life cycle.
- Good understanding of digital transformation themes and ideally hands-on experience with technology.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- Strong organizational skills.
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- Direct experience with managing a consulting service line or capability.
- Experience with operational risk, business risk, and contract negotiations.
- Good understanding of rules and regulations applicable in the Asset Management space.
- Social impact and interest in community and team.
