JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
This role provides support for specific applications for the business unit. The primary responsibility is application development, maintenance, and support of Entergy’s Corporate Applications. This includes SharePoint, Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, and custom application support, for the Corporate Applications Units.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide operational support, ensuring production systems and devices are online and available; this includes non-business hours on-call support.
- Learn and understand Corporate Application operations business needs and objectives; recommend and design applications and implement enhancements that meet customer business needs.
- Provide and maintain systems application availability, ensuring that applications are active and operating as defined in any Service Level Agreements.
- Support the design, development, and testing of systems applications and enhancements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum education required of the position.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical degree or Experience Equivalent
Minimum experience required of the position
6+ years of relevant technology delivery with Subject Matter Expertise for IT Applications
- Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, and integrating APIs is desired.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
- Proficient in SharePoint migration and OneDrive.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to support systems including 3rd party integrations in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to support cyber security activities such as, system hardening, patch management, and configuration management.
- Knowledge of web security controls testing, security audits, and security assessments.
- Ability to critically analyze an issue with other team members and come to the most reasonable and least impactful direction.
- Highly motivated and ability to work with little direct supervision.
- Ability to implement process improvements where needed to streamline process workflow without being requested by business.
- Effective Teamwork and Inclusion (e.g., works collaboratively, builds collaborative relationships).
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Understand client business needs & objectives.
- Demonstrated track record of relevant technology delivery.
- Provide technical advice and contribute to IT strategy development.
- Manage core and non-core SharePoint platforms and solutions.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
