Description:
60% coding, 20% mentoring, 20% feature writing stories and adding details to processes.
This person would start with the TAM (Technical Assistance Manager) project, as that has the biggest need for additional support. They would then use their expertise to work on other projects as they come up. Technical Assistance Manager (TAM) is the portal that contains and allows access to the CCR&R, TFCCN, and TECTA databases. This project is funded through a contract with the Tennessee Department of Human Services and the University of Tennessee Social Work Office of Research and Public Service (SWORPS).
This person will need to help us move to more of an API backend so that we can split tickets and focus on moving forward to some of the new .NET technologies. Someone who knows the full stack enough to be able to suggest certain APIs, show how they'd break the database apart, and suggest what goes in the front end vs what goes in the API. This person needs to be a full stack developer and not necessarily just in the tech stack sense of things. They should have experience building something from either requirements or obtaining feedback directly and working in that cyclical process directly with the client.
Expectations in the first 30 days would be starting to get to know all the partners and acronyms, getting the code, starting to run it, and understanding how it's broken out. Within 90 days, they would be expected to be taking tickets and implementing features.
