About our Team
The Business Consulting team leads customer impacting projects that are cross functional and have a higher degree of complexity. The team supports customer engagement and communication as a shared service within the larger organization.
About the Role
This role will provide project management and guidance for customers that impact communication and success initiatives. The Strategic Business Consultant, together with leadership, is directly responsible for delivery of assigned projects within acceptable timeframes and quality standards.
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering assigned projects on schedule and aligned with the critical needs of the business or external customer.
- Constructing the Work Breakdown Structure for the project as needed; demonstrate proficiency in using project management software tools. Knowledge of AdaptiveWork ideal.
- Managing the project lifecycle from start to finish.
- Coordinating and facilitating project meetings and negotiating with staffing managers for project resources and other project needs.
- Representing Customer Communication Program Management in cross-functional teams within the LexisNexis RISK Solutions organization.
- Identifying and making recommendations for improvement to existing processes and procedures.
- Maintaining knowledge of project management trends and best practices.
- Managing multiple projects running concurrently.
- Performing all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Have Bachelor's or 7 years equivalent experience.
- Have 5+ years of project management experience; in a program office and hands-on experience executing complex programs would be advantageous.
- Have Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt or PMI certification.
- Have experience in presenting to executive level audiences.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills; including the ability to work across a highly matrixed organization. (Interacting, influencing, negotiating effectively with all levels of leadership and peers.)
- Have demonstrated leadership experience in a dynamic environment with frequent and substantial priority changes. Experience with stringent timelines and major resource constraints would be advantageous.
- Experience with MS Office and project planning software required.
- Have ability to travel occasionally as required.
- Have ability to commute to Alpharetta, GA or Boca Raton, FL on a Hybrid basis.
