Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Consultant who is willing to do what it takes to succeed. The ideal candidate should be energetic, personable, outgoing, and a self-starter with a good work ethic. As a key player in our sales department, you will assist customers in finding the right vehicle to meet their needs, providing excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets. Previous auto sales experience is helpful, but NOT REQUIRED for this position. However, applicants from finance, real estate, retail, sales, customer service, hospitality, restaurant, and banking industries are strongly encouraged to apply.
Our Sales Associates are paid based on a commission structure, so income is only limited by your ambition level. For example, our average salesperson at Mitsubishi earns over $65,000 yearly. During the first 6 months of employment, we will provide a 'guaranteed minimum income' so that new associates can focus on learning the product and the 'Eide way' of doing business instead of worrying about how much they will be paid.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses to determine their needs and desires.
- Demonstrate vehicle features and capabilities, taking customers on test drives.
- Ensure that the customer understands the vehicle’s operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our inventory, including current sales and promotions, financing options, and competitive features. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing follow-up and support throughout the sales process.
- Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare and process necessary paperwork for vehicle sales and leases.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the dealership.
- Attend product and sales training courses provided by the dealership.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to build rapport quickly
- Self-motivated with a desire to achieve and exceed sales goals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus
- Must be computer-literate and tech-savvy
- A professional appearance
