Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele – Acute Care
Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights / 6p-6:30a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week, EOW
Requirements:
- IL license
- Minimum 3 years experience
- MS/Tele and Tele experience
- Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams
- Required Endocrine/Metabolic Skills/Experience: IV insulin protocols, Titration of insulin drips. Feeding tube care and management experience required. Experience with patients with Renal failure required
- Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs
- Required Medication Skills/Experience: Heparin Protocols, Titrate Vasoactive drips
- Required Neurological/Psychiatric Case Skills/Experience: CVA. Experience with Total Joint Replacements required
- Required Respiratory Skills/Experience: External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy Management
- Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH preferred
- Community Hospital Experience preferred
Other Details:
- First-timers accepted
- Total Staffed Beds: 25 beds.
- Charting: Cerner
- If low census, will float within skill level
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
