Position Highlights:
- Shift Schedule:36 hours per week, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 8am-8:30pm
- Sign-On Bonus:This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus, provided the candidate meets the eligibility requirements.

What You’ll Need:
- Graduate of an approved AMA Radiology Program or Associate’s DegreeRequired
- Registered & Certified by ARRT in MRI / other specialty or DeemedMRI Registry Eligible
- Preferred – Bachelor’s Degree
- Preferred – 2 years of experience in MRI
- Valid CPR Certification – BCLS Required
- Able to communicate professionally, both written and orally, with physicians, nurses, and other professionals
- Effective time management & clinical skills to successfully prioritize patient needs and clinical responsibilities in a fast-paced and potentially stressful work environment with high patient volume.
Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- MRI Procedures: Conducts or assists in MRI procedures and diagnostic tests / scans.
- Protocols & Equipment: Maintains knowledge of current protocols and imaging techniques, while ensuring MRI Scanners are well-equipped for patient use.
- Emergency Readiness: Ensures readiness of emergency equipment and supplies, recognizes and reacts appropriately to potential crises.
- Education & Instruction: Provides guidance, education, and consultation to healthcare personnel, students, and patients to enhance quality of care; stays current with necessary competencies, training, and education needed to work in this capacity.
- Record Keeping: Maintains patient files and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with departmental procedures.
- Work Coordination: Collaborates with colleagues to achieve objectives; Sets personal and professional goals to support quality improvement efforts and departmental objectives.
- Age-Appropriate Care: Ensures age and developmentally appropriate care meets guidelines for specific age groups served.
- Meets Hospital Standards: Adheres to general hospital procedures and policies, fostering cooperation through effective communication, interpersonal relationships, and team building.
This role involves maintaining a clean work area but carries inherent risks, including exposure to infections, bloodborne diseases, hazardous substances, and radiation. It also entails handling emergency situations, working irregular hours, and being available for short-notice absentee replacement.
