Join our team in a small hospital setting at Davie Medical Center as a CT/X-ray Technologist to support our service expansion in our Emergency Department.
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: Full time, evenings, Monday through Thursday, 11:00p-7a.
- Eligible for 3rd shift differential pay in addition to the base pay.
- Incentive: This position is eligible for up to $15,000 sign-on bonus for a qualified new hire ($10,000 for new CT Technologist graduate). Bonus is paid over the course of two years.
- Relocation Assistance: Based on new hire's eligibility, relocation assistance of $3,000 is paid within first 30 days of employment.

What You Will Do:
Assists the radiologists and other staff physicians with invasive procedures, patient scheduling, clerical and image processing functions, participating in the CT call plan, managing the flow of patients and processes, and working in general diagnostic radiology when needed. Performs diagnostic radiology and CT procedures by utilizing equipment and employing techniques and procedures that are appropriate to the entire span of ages served in accordance with accepted standards of practice, and demonstrating expertise in limiting radiation exposure to patients and other members of the health care team.
What You Will Need:
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology or CT Scanning.
- Registered and certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
- Registry eligible for CT allowed and must become registered within 12 months of hire.
- BLS (CPR) certification.
- Minimum of six months experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist.
Skills for Success:
- Ability to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses and other ancillary professional staff when discussing procedures and patient's care
- Ability to maintain daily schedules
- Clinical skills to enable recognition and to function accordingly in relation to priorities of patient needs
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
- Completes 24 hours of required continuing educations every two years
