Radiology Technologist PRN
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Registered Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing radiology procedures in accordance with clinicians' orders, exam protocols, and instructions. They are to instruct the patient regarding procedures, assess and interpret data, identify patient requirements based on age-specific needs, maintain equipment and examination rooms, follow safety standards, provide quality imaging, maintain accurate records, follow HIPAA regulations, collaborate with the care team, and follow aseptic procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Licensed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, ARRT registration.
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board, MRT registration.
- CPR certification for Health Care Providers.
- Minimum two (2) years experience as an ARRT and MRT Registered Technologist.
- Experience in CT required.
- Knowledge of all radiologic equipment.
- Must be proficient in all general studies.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate all Radiology Equipment.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task efficiently, follow safety guidelines, maintain an organized work area, establish effective relationships, manage interactions, and communicate effectively in English.
