PRN - Day Care Setting

As a speech language pathologist, you will have the opportunity to diagnose and treat a wide range of communication disorders, including speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with children and provide specialized therapy services that enhance their quality of life. Responsibilities

Assess and diagnose communication disorders through thorough evaluations
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans specific to each patient's needs
Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to patients, using evidence-based techniques
Monitor and evaluate progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies for improving communication and swallowing skills
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
Keep detailed and accurate records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress

Minimum Requirements

License or Certification:
Must be in possession of current SLP certificate on or before the first day of employment. CPR certification, TB skin test, Auto Insurance, and Driver License are also required.

Education, Training and Experience:
Minimum requirement: Associate degree in and/or graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology assistant certificate program. Experience is preferred but not required.
