- We are working with community partners, population health and digital medicine experts on expanding palliative care delivery into community settings, with opportunities to build innovative models grounded in health equity and culturally informed care.
- We offer myriad opportunities to teach fellows, medical students and residents and build skills in teaching/learning, assessment, curriculum development, evaluation and mentoring.
- We are active members of the Center to Advance Palliative Care, the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine and the Palliative Care Quality Collaborative. We partner with the Schwartz Center for Compassion in Healthcare and the Arnold P. Gold Foundation to promote humanism in medicine at our institution.
- The ideal candidate will qualify for Associate Professor rank or greater but will consider Assistant Professor candidates with outstanding experience and leadership potential. Training in Vital Talk and/or Serious Illness Care Program attractive but not required.
