Associate Veterinarian – Deer Grove Veterinary Clinic - AAHA Accredited
About Our Hospital:
Deer Grove Veterinary Clinic is seeking a motivated, team-oriented full-time DVM to join our currently 4-DVM growing practice with no on-call or emergency duty. We are an AAHA-accredited dog and cat-exclusive companion animal practice just east of Madison, Wisconsin. Our clinic has been a part of the community since 1968, and we have a terrific and expanding clientele seeking top-notch care for their furry family members. We are a clinic that is very focused on offering individualized care for each patient in as stress-free of a manner as possible and making sure we take the time to address all of our client's concerns. We often hear from clients that we offer a level of service and care that is exemplary, and they are happy to have found such a good fit for the care of their pets.
Our current team consists of 4 DVMs, 6 CVTs, one veterinary assistant, a hospital administrator, and 4 CSRs. We are a well-equipped veterinary clinic with DR radiology, point-of-care ultrasound, digital dental radiology, a K-Laser therapy laser, and in-house Idexx lab equipment including CBC, chemistry analyzer, and Sedivue. Our current services offered include wellness and preventative care, general surgery, dentistry, Tibial Tuberosity Advancement surgery, acupuncture and integrative pain management, and daytime sick animal care.
We feel having a good work-life balance is very important for our staff's wellbeing. We have several nearby emergency and specialty centers to help with our more critical patients. We are a very team-oriented practice that works together on all levels to help offer terrific care. Our DVMs work collaboratively on cases, and our support staff does a terrific job of helping out wherever they are needed, and are very capable of handling technician-level skills, including treatments and performing diagnostics.
We can offer a great mentorship opportunity if desired, with DVMs ranging in experience from 37 years in practice to 6 years in practice and a wide array of interests and talents. We encourage professional development in areas of individual doctors' interest to continue to offer new and improved services to our clientele and help our DVMs grow in their skills and knowledge. If you are interested in learning more about our practice and our current open position, we would love to hear from you to be able to further discuss this great opportunity!
