JOB SUMMARY:
As a PRN Speech Language Pathologist, you are an integral member of the resident-centered care team. You will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, developing personalized treatment plans to help residents improve their communication abilities, achieve effective communication, and manage swallowing difficulties. This is a position for an as-needed, PRN Speech Language Pathologist for our team!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborative Environment: Join our dynamic in-house therapy team, where communication and collaboration are at the heart of our approach. You’ll work closely with a diverse group of professionals, including Physical Therapists (PTs), Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA's), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA's), Occupational Therapists (OTs), Dietitians, and other healthcare experts to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
- Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Engage in regular interdisciplinary meetings and case discussions as necessary to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Your role will involve active participation in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that integrate input from all members of our healthcare team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Licensure and Certification:
- State Licensure: Current state licensure or certification as required.
- Certification: Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred. This includes passing the national examination in speech-language pathology.
- Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Proficiency in therapeutic techniques for communication and swallowing disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute effective treatment plans.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
- Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
