As an Electrophysiology Technologist (EP Tech) for Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you are passionate about being part of a world-class team, delivering the most leading/cutting-edge cardiac care to our patients. You love Cardiology and you are a consummate team player.
What you'll do:
- Scrub and assist physician during Electrophysiology Procedures, to include, but not limited to the following:
- Atrial Fib Ablations
- VT Ablations
- Pacemaker and leadless pacemaker implants
- ICD Implantations
- Laser Lead Extractions
- Watchman LAA Closure implants
- Assist in ECG and IEGM interpretation
- Orient and precept new EP Techs & EP Nurses
- Assist EP Team in research trials involving the latest therapies and devices
- Interface with vendors, multi-disciplinary care team
What you'll bring:
- Experience as an Electrophysiology Technologist is highly preferred
- 2+ years of healthcare-related experience in any of the following fields:
- ARRT certified Radiologic Tech
- RCES/RCIS Tech
- EMT/Paramedic
- Exercise Physiologists
- Respiratory Therapist
- NH State licensure for Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
- Required within 30 days of hire if not currently held
- Must have the ability to obtain a RCES/RCIS certification through CCI or Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) within 2 years of hire (waived if the candidate is currently an RT)
- ACLS Certification through American Heart Association
- Ability to obtain ACLS certification during the orientation period
- American Heart Association BLS Certification
- Ability to obtain BLS certification within the first 21 days of hire.
