Asks questions regarding setup and treatment by collaborating with MDs, physicists, and fellow team members to ensure accurate treatment.
- Demonstrates knowledge of conventional radiation techniques to include CBCT, IGRT, and IMRT/VMAT and utilizes custom immobilization devices specific to each patient. Utilizes appropriate imaging techniques in accordance with protocol with regard to treatment site. Ensures all information for patient treatment is documented and communicated appropriately for handoff. Explains treatment process to patient, to include what to expect during treatment delivery, and answers questions to ensure understanding.
