Nuclear Cardiologist Opening in Kansas City, MO

Position Details:
- Board Eligible/Board Certified
- Competitive salary not based on productivity
- Advanced training in Nuclear Cardiology including PET required
- The candidate will be joining six nuclear cardiologists
- Leadership opportunities available
- Nuclear Cardiology is part of the Cardiovascular Radiologic Imaging Department which is part of the Cardiology Service Line and also includes Cardiovascular CT and Cardiac MRI
- The department has 4 nuclear cardiology laboratories located in each of the system hospitals across the KC metro area
- Each site has PET-CT and SPECT capabilities, including digital PET
- Approximately 8,000 nuclear studies are performed annually, with the majority being PET studies
- The applicant would be expected to have an interest in, and be actively involved in, clinical research
- The applicant can request a percentage of time be dedicated to clinical research through our unique Clinical Scholars Program
- While expertise in additional cardiac imaging modalities is not a prerequisite, accommodations will be made according to the applicant's training, expertise, and interests
