We are currently seeking a skilled and flexible MRI Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis.
Job Description: As a PRN MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI scans for our patients on an as-needed basis. Your expertise will help us provide timely and accurate imaging services, collaborating closely with our orthopedic specialists to support patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Operate MRI equipment and maintain high-quality imaging standards.
- Review images for quality assurance and completeness.
- Collaborate with radiologists and orthopedic staff to discuss imaging findings.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
- Adhere to safety and compliance regulations in imaging practices.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current ARRT (R) certification and MRI certification.
- Prior experience in MRI preferred, especially in an orthopedic setting.
- Strong knowledge of MRI technology and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible schedule.
