Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the diagnostic process by performing a variety of imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiography techniques, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and MRIs according to physician orders.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning patients correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper functioning and calibration.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and accuracy, ensuring that all necessary views are captured.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols to minimize exposure risks to patients and staff.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current on advancements in radiologic technology and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred but not required.
- No minimum requirement of experience as a Radiology Technician; recently graduated students are welcome.
- Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and imaging software.
- Strong knowledge of radiography techniques and imaging equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
