Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8-hour shifts
- Wednesday, and the first Saturday of each month: 4-hour shifts
- Day shift
- Lunch hour
Work Location: In person
Responsibilities:
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for a wide variety of cats and dogs.
- Provide preventative care, including vaccinations, parasite control, and nutrition counseling.
- Conduct laboratory tests and interpret results for diagnosis and treatment.
- Train and educate pet owners on proper animal care and behavior management.
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with clients.
- Strong knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and pathology.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and diagnostic procedures.
- Experience in animal husbandry, including nutrition, breeding, and reproduction.
- Familiarity with aseptic technique for surgical procedures.
- Ability to perform animal catheterization and administer medications.
- Knowledge of practice management principles for efficient clinic operations.
- Comfortable handling cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
