We are seeking a board-certified or residency trained Veterinary Surgeon to fulfill an integral role and join a small animal hospital in Indio, California. Our client is a nonprofit animal welfare organization centered in providing the best comprehensive services to all pets in the area. The hospital specializes in affordable surgeries, spays & neuters, dentistry, wellness and preventative care, and blood work.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Providing daily veterinarian services for small animals
- Supervising and guiding staff in the process of medical procedures and surgeries
- Providing pet health and ownership counseling to clients
- Maintaining complete records while preserving confidentiality
Qualifications: Active California license, DEA license, APHIS certification, experience with veterinary clinic procedures, knowledge of MS Office, team player attitude, new grads are encouraged to apply as well!
