JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an Employee Health RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to provide direct and indirect nursing care for employees, contract employees, and non-employee groups, with particular emphasis in the area of occupational health. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.
In this role you will:
- Complete Employee Health visits per organizational policy and department protocols.
- Provide safe, competent, and efficient nursing care for minor and acute injuries and illnesses.
- Monitor employee work-related illness and injury trends.
- Assess, develop, and implement strategies to prevent work-acquired injury or illness and expedite return to work.
- Participate in preventative screening programs.
- Safely administer and document immunizations and TB skin tests.
- Counsel employees on physical and mental health issues and provide resources for further assistance.
Job Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Required, Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required.
- Specialty nursing certification preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years as an RN in an Acute Care setting or specialty area with 2 or more years of occupational health nursing.
