Our client, a 100 bed hospital located in NW AZ, has a need for a Director of Surgical Services to join their team. Candidates MUST be a RN to be considered.
$20,000 sign-on bonus and $5,000 Relocation for a 3-year commitment
Position Summary
Assures the delivery of patient care with the skills of an experienced Registered Nurse. Position responsibilities include ensuring continuity of patient care, serving as a resource for subordinate staff, facilitating problem solving, assisting with Quality Improvement Activities, staff education and assuring compliance with established policies and procedures and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years as director of Surgical Services in a critical care hospital required; 5 years in Surgical Services leadership or leadership in critical care hospital upper management preferred.
- Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) preferred.
- Graduate of a Program in Nursing at Bachelors of Science level or higher required; Master’s preferred.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association required upon hire.
- Arizona Registered Nurse and/or Compact State Registered Nurse required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) American Heart Association required upon hire.
- Moderate Sedation Certification preferred.
