In this role, as Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator, you'll have an opportunity to work closely with the Director of Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy Lead to continue quality patient care services. You'll provide collaborative pharmaceutical care to patients while working in conjunction with physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals. In addition, you will have a chance to showcase your clinical skills by developing and conducting drug utilization reviews, recommending and/or implementing programs for improving pharmacy resource management to the extent that they will bring about more efficient, safer, or more economical use of drugs. You will have a chance to assist and educate pharmacists, as well as both post-graduate year 1 & 2 residents. While assisting with the pharmacy’s quality assurance activities, you’ll have a direct hand in ensuring compliance with both patient care and medical practice standards. You will also assist in the coordination of the department’s in-service trainings and employee/student education functions, ensuring the maintenance of the staff’s skill/education levels.
This is a full time Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator (Hematology/Oncology) day shift position Monday-Friday with clinical on-call responsibilities located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. This position will rotate between outpatient and inpatient services.
Preferred Criteria:
- Postgraduate year 2 ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency (Hematology/Oncology).
- Specialty Board Certification (BCOP) – within 18 months of hire.
Required Criteria:
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree.
- Current Licensed and Registered in New York State.
- Postgraduate year 1 ASHP-accredited residency.
- In compliance with CE Credit requirements.
- Decision Making and Judgment - Professional competence and common sense.
- Equipment - Basic knowledge of computer applications (i.e. MS Word, E-mail, etc.).

Salary Range: $152,000-$199,200/Annual
