FT or PT Associate needed for a busy, progressive small animal practice in Springfield, IL. Seeking an energetic, compassionate, personable individual. Experienced and new grads accepted.
Brewer Animal Hospital is presently a 3-doctor practice looking to replace a retired partner, 95% canine/feline with some small mammal exotics. We are a well-equipped facility with an in-house lab, state of the art digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, class 4 therapy laser, and two certified techs.
At BAH, we strive to provide high quality medicine & surgery for our patients, compassionate service for our clients, and a relaxed, low pressure, family-like work environment for our employees. Associates can expect a good balance of outpatient appointments and surgery.
We expect our veterinarians to practice high quality medicine and to charge appropriately but to work gently with the clients and their pets. We want all our employees to have a good, healthy balance between work and family/leisure time.
BAH is a privately owned practice. There is the potential for future buy-in. If you have the desire to someday be your own boss rather than a corporate employee, you have that potential at BAH.
NO AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY CALLS ARE REQUIRED. Springfield has a well-established, reliable emergency clinic.
PT hours: 2 shifts/wk plus rotating Sat. (1/2 day). FT hours: 4 weekdays plus ½ day rotating Sat’s.
Salary and Benefits:
$120,000 minimum base salary with significantly more with production bonus for full time. Benefits include paid health insurance, professional association dues, liability insurance, retirement plan, paid vacation, CE allowance, etc.

Minimum Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited veterinary college with a DVM or equivalent.
Current Illinois State veterinary license.
