Cytotechnologist - Full-Time Position
Day Shift Available
Location: Mattoon, IL
Pay: $89,232/YR

Job Description
- Analyze cellular samples to detect abnormal or cancerous cells
- Prepare, stain, and examine specimens under a microscope
- Collaborate with pathologists for accurate diagnostic outcomes
- Maintain laboratory equipment and adhere to safety protocols
- Accurately document test results and maintain records in compliance with laboratory regulations
Education + Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cytotechnology or related field
- ASCP Cytotechnologist certification (CT)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Illinois
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Previous clinical laboratory experience is preferred
