As a Public Health Program Administrator in the Bureau of Communicable Diseases, Division of Tuberculosis (TB) and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD), you will play a vital role in supporting the organization's mission to combat these diseases. In this position, you will utilize factual, data-focused interventions to elevate the promotion of relevant testing, treatment, and reporting of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) within the county and municipal health departments and participating provider agreement (PPA) contracted STD testing and treatment providers. You will also observe clinical services, treatment of positive cases and speculative positive cases of STDs, using the Pennsylvania Electronic Disease Reporting System (PA-NEDSS) to organize activities with county and municipal health departments. Additionally, you will serve as a STD program project officer for the Allegheny County Health Department contract and the statewide STD/HIV testing contract.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment (37.50-hour work week)
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. You will be required to report one time a month to the Department of Health and Human Services Building for bureau in-office day in Harrisburg. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Public Health Program Associate 2 (commonwealth title); or
- A bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in the development, analysis, or monitoring of programs, grants, or contracts in health, human services, social or behavioral services, health care services, or health insurance; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
