Job Description
The Director of Cardiovascular Cath Lab Department will work with program development, service improvement and promotion, overseeing the activities in the development of department staff.
Job Summary:
Demonstrates 24 hour responsibility and accountability for practice, and quality of care and services within assigned department.
What you will do in this role:
- Provides leadership of the Cardiac/Cath and EP clinical services and programs. Ensures the selection, retention, and assignment of competent workforce to ensure effective delivery of departmental services.
- Demonstrates accountability for clinical practice, services and administrative activities including fiscal, material and human resource management.
- Maintains and monitors utilization of resources, physical space, equipment, department protocols, standards, policies, equipment, and practices.
- Manages staff performance through regular review, real time feedback, and performance planning. Ensures performance reviews are conducted on time. Actively coaches and mentors staff.
- Ensures provision of quality services by maintaining appropriate resources, staffing levels, competency of staff, maintenance/ and performance of equipment, instrumentation, physical space, and training and education of staff.
- Develops and fosters effective collaboration between clinical departments, physicians, and other affiliated services to ensure an integrated approach in providing services to meet the needs of the patients served.
- Supports and recognizes physicians as important customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- RN, APRN, RCIS, or state registered Radiologic Tech (RT)
- 2-3 years of recent Team Lead/Supervisor/Manager experience in the Cath/EP, with experience from an acute hospital setting.

- 7 direct reports (4 cath lab RNs and 3 cath lab techs)
- Staff does a lot of call that they rotate
- Reports to CNO
Salary Range: $110-130K based on years of experience.
Annual Bonus: 15% annual bonus incentive (Eligibility will start January 1st and the first bonus payment will be March 2026).
Annual Merit: Raises every July.
Sign-On: No sign-on bonus.
